Manny is a young lab mix, born 5-11-21, weighing 63lbs- but his ideal weight is about 70lbs. He is a gorgeous boy with soulful eyes, floppy ears, and soft black fur. He has a goofy demeanor and loves to play with his doggy friends- he gets along fabulously with small and big dogs. His foster Mom thinks that although he has not been cat tested, he would likely be cat friendly. Manny is housebroken, is working on his crate training, and is learning his basic commands. He has good leash manners and is easy to walk for a dog his size- his daily walks are one of his favorite activities! He is a very gentle boy who does not jump on you, and is great with adults and kids. Manny can be shy and intimidated when meeting men, so he does need someone who will be understanding and patient with him. Manny is very loving and enjoys being close to his people- either by your side as you work from home, or cuddling on the couch in the evening.

Manny would love a quiet home with another doggy friend that he can play with, and a family that is home regularly. He does have some separation anxiety that he is working on in his foster home. This sweet boy is scheduled to have orthopedic surgery to repair a medially luxated patella in the near future. In the meantime, he is available for a Foster to Adopt situation, where BarkVille will cover all medical expenses for him until he is fully healthy. At that point in time, he will be available for adoption. Manny is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
