Finch is a young english pointer mix, born on 4-30-22, weighing approximately 30lbs when full grown and a sweet, affectionate, pocket girl. She loves to play -- either wrestling or stealing a toy to be chased by one of the foster dogs that has met her. She is medium energy when playing. But the most important thing to her is being with her people. She is crate trained and close to being housetrained -- she is merely learning a new schedule and that could be throwing her off. But more than that she would love to cuddle with you, give you kisses, and wag her tail endlessly. She is a little shy when out in the backyard -- not straying too far or listening intently to new noises so exposing her to that will be important. She sleeps through the night and will need time to decompress and trust that she will get all the playtime and cuddle time so that she can relax in her crate.

She loves treats, is pretty good on leash. If you have another dog, I would feed both of them in separate crates. It could be temporary but she has been through a lot so her food is very precious to her. Overall, shes a beautiful dog, looking for love, and will be a good active companion for you.
