Wendy Lou is a sweet & playful pocket pittie mix who is 2 years old and weighs 38 lbs. She is a friendly, funny, "life of the party" kinda girl who will win your heart with the twinkle in her big brown eyes! She is a medium energy girl with good leash manners and she's currently learning basic commands in her foster home. She likes other dogs, likes to be busy, and likes to be a bit bossy with her canine friends. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped. Wendy is HW+ and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until her HW treatment is complete and she is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitos and it is not contagious. It is highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment.
