Pepper Potts
Pepper Potts is a sweet & loving Lab/Pittie mix who is 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. She is a friendly, silly, calm girl who is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Pepper came to BarkVille after being seized by Animal Control from a hoarding situation with 36 other dogs. She is shy with new people, but is very gentle & submissive with other dogs. She is a medium energy dog with awesome leash manners who likes everyone and is currently learning basic commands in her foster home. Her foster mom says that Pepper is an amazing dog with a heart of gold who has been through a lot and deserves a change to have a family of her own. She is looking for a home with another dog and a person/family who will give her the time & space she needs to get comfortable in a new environment. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped. She is HW+ and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until her HW treatment is complete and she is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitos and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented and highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment.
