Dogs, Older Kids
Kiley is a beautiful German Shepherd, born on 2-21-15, weighing 70 pounds. Kiley is a sweet and laid-back man - he likes to chase squirrels but is also content to hang out with his humans! He is content to chew on a ball, or lounge by your side. He also enjoys going for car rides and does great in the car. He is good with other dogs, and does well with dog savvy cats, but he does have a prey drive. Kiley was formerly an outside dog before ending up at a rural GA animal control facility, but he has slowly learned what its like to live inside and be apart of a family. He is house trained and enjoys spending time in his crate. Kiley knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash.
Kiley would love a forever home with a fenced yard, and a quiet home with adults only or older children. He is slow to trust new people, as he was not socialized in his prior life. He does need slow and proper introductions to strangers or people entering the home, so a family that is willing to be patient and work with him is essential. Kiley has great manners in the house, isn't afraid of loud noises/thunderstorms, and will make a loyal companion for the right family. Kiley is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
