Gino is a friendly, affectionate senior Lab mix who is 8 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He loves people, has good leash manners, likes to go for walks, and knows his basic commands. He is an energetic, playful, mature boy who enjoys getting head rubs and giving kisses. Due to no fault of his own, Gino was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter with his companion Mona (who has since been adopted thru BarkVille Dog Rescue). Not only did Gino lose the only family he'd ever known, but he had vision loss in his left eye which made the whole experience even scarier. BarkVille provided Gino with the medical care he needed for his eye and he has since had that eye removed. Although he may not have perfect sight, he is still very playful, always ready to have fun, and when it’s time to get cozy, he’s your "go to" boy to snuggle up & keep you warm! Because of his age and limited sight, we think Gino may be best suited to a home with no other dogs and mature adults. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped.
