Cece is an adorable, affectionate Staffy mix who is 11 months old and weighs 40 lbs. She came to BarkVille severely injured & requiring extensive surgery on her neck after being violently attacked by another dog. She was found with another young female dog who was also scarred & injured, and we fear that both girls had been used as bait dogs. Thankfully, Cece's surgeries went well and she (and her companion) were both placed in wonderful foster homes where they are putting on weight & regaining their health & confidence daily. Although her wounds have healed, CeCe will always need to wear a harness instead of a regular collar or slip lead due to the sensitivity around her neck. Her foster mom says CeCe loves to nap all day and has started showing interest in durable chew toys, but will destroy stuffies. She is a loving, gentle cuddle bug and is good with children, but needs slow introductions to other dogs. She CANNOT live in a home with cats. She is housebroken, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped. She is crate trained, but is not a fan of the crate, so she's looking for a home with a person/family who are home often so that her crate time will be minimal.
