Meet Caleb, a Pitbull/Shar Pei mix. This sweet boy is ready to join your family. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash, neutered and up to date on his shots. According to his foster family, he is a very good family dog getting along well with their 12 year old daughter and their other foster dogs. He loves to play with other dogs and does well with both female and male dogs. Caleb would do well as an only dog or in a pack with other dogs of similar size and strength. At his foster house, he does well in the fenced yard and does not attempt to escape. He would do well in an apartment with regular walks and playtime. He rarely barks. When introduced to a kitten, he showed only mild interest and appeared very comfortable. Caleb is fearful and skittish towards new people and places. He startles easily. He is calm and behaved indoors. He is not possessive of his toys or food. He does like to HIDE his toys. Caleb will thrive in a family that will be firm but calm. He is very loving toward his foster family. He is a very sweet and smart dog. He responds very well to training and learns fast. His foster mom is working with him to overcome his fearfulness. He is making slow but steady progress and she is sure he will get over his fears in time.
